For my card I stamped the image using Stampin up "beach sketch" stamp and coloured with Promarkers. I then added the Faux sand(tutorial can be found on the side bar), along with so,e shells. Once dry inked the blue water with Broken china Distress ink. This left a nice white section looking like the foam on the water when it washes in. Lastly I sponged the same ink over a mask and added the sentiment stamped using Non Sequitur "Across the Miles" Stamp. Now if you pop on over to the Try it on Tuesday blog you can see some more wonderful pieces of inspiration from my team mates, then go ahead and link up your project.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day. Angela.

I Just love your card Angela and just gonna check out the faux sand technique. Thanks for sharing it. xx
Gorgeous card Angela, love the image and the sand is fantastic. I have the card you made me, using this image and technique, where I can see it everyday and gather inspiration from it. :-) xx
This card has an Enid Blyton story book feel to it. The faux sand is very authentic. hugs Mrs A.
